I was accused of not thinking for myself by a prep! A guy who's "popular", a meat-eater, shops at Ambercrombie/Aeropostale/Hollister, is a jock, etc. accused me of not thinking for myself??? I have blue hair, hang with the stoners/artists, am more or less vegan, shop mostly at thrift stores and online goth stores, am an animal rights activist/artist/writer/Goth Pagan!!!! I can't get much more "thinking for myself."

You're trying much too hard to be "non-mainstream" You're a typical teenager with a rebellious streak. Why do I say this? I was once in your shoes. I will share this quote with you and hope that you take it to heart. "Goth is not about black cloth, goth is about attitude." Do you have the darkness inside of you?
I don't just dress goth. Actually, on my family's budget, I barely dress goth most days. unless you count a black tee with some jeans goth. I'm also into Goth music, Goth poetry, etc. I could careless about being non-mainstream. I hang out with everyone at school, and more or less do what I believe. I don't try to be anything. I'm just me.
First it's the outsiders and now it's everyone... Hmm, I'm confused. You probably don't even know yourself.
I'm confused by what u mean. I've always hung out with everyone. My "group" is kinda a scrambled mix. I guess you could consider us outsiders. But my school doesn't exactly have cliques or anything. I'm not popular. Don't get me wrong. It's hard to explain "me". I just wrote a post about it. I'm hard to understand unless you've known me for awhile. sorry if that doesn't answer what you were asking. I haven't been sleeping much. I'm wasn't really sure what you were asking/pointing out.
