I know how ironic this will sound: I'm a Pagan who gets the utmost joy out of attending Catholic mass. Anywho, last night during Christmas mass (at midnight, the witching hour, no less) a thought occured to me, could I be both a devout Catholic, and a devout Witch? Well according to my fave author, Raven Digitalis, (I recieved his opinion on this matter this morning on myspace.) the two religions are completely compatable. especially, as his uni teacher put it to him, "Catholoicism the most Pagan of Christian paths." He even suggest a book to me, that sounds like an amazing read that I can't wait to get my hands on. Here's the link to the book:

I then did more research on my own, and came across this website, that is highly helpful to my spiritual wonderings: http://northernway.org/cpinfo.html
I've always had an intense relationship with St. Mary. She's guided me for a long time. And now I think I'll finally add her to my religious beliefs. I've fully decided I want to be baptized in a Catholic Church, and at the same time, undergo a self dedication/wiccaning/self initiation of some kind to wicca.
I've been pondering this path a long time, and I'm glad I've finally decided how to handle it.
Happy Yuletide and Merry Christmas Everyone!

home again, home again, jiggity jig. . .
just got home from a weekend long stay at my aunt's. she's in her early 30's, and we're more like friends than aunt-niece. so staying at her house is always fun. especially when her and my uncle gave me $175 to go buy clothes. which i was actually in need of. I love that I'm losing weight. honest, i do. But when all your clothes are getting rather baggy and bum looking. . . well. . . time to go shopping. So we headed out to walmart and i came home with a heaping $125 worth, which is a lot at wally-world. then we went to the mall. and i'll be honest. I went to Hot-Topic. but I only got a few clothing items. I got a Nightmare Before Christmas tee (purple with sally on it), and a Tripp tutu skirt (red and black). I also got a Nightmare hat, two cozy blankets (one had the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland on it, the other was a Nightmare one), some sheer black lip gloss, some nightmare hairties, and something else i can't seem to remember. lol. And in honor of Yule tomorrow I paid a small visit to Blue Moon, the local pagan store. I had to get some Yule incense, since I ran out of time to make my own, and I also pick up a jar of Angelica, which I've been meaning to get since before Samhain. I also got my 2010 calender, a purple and black celtic pentacle tote bag, a large black book of shadows with a gold pentacle on the front, and some really cute matches. one box has pics of stonehenge, the other has pics of vampires. And i had to put back the tarot bag i wanted, and also the book I need to get: Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magickal Herbs. but all in all, a wonderful weekend. and as my uncle put it, I made out like a bandit!

Mark Ingram
I just wanna give a big shout out to Mark and his family. I'm so excited for all of you, this is awesome. Congrats Mark! Everyone back in Grand Blanc was rooting for you!
I have this weird sense of pride going on right now. Mark's practically a celebrity now. I mean, he went to school with me for crying out loud! I'm friends with his younger sister! How f*cking awesome is that?
